# Kansas Ultra Races > KansasUltraRaces.com is the canonical race, edition and race-results website of the Kansas Ultrarunning Historical Foundation network. Its record pages belong on this domain and can be discovered independently of the Foundation and runner websites. Each website has its own canonical home. KansasUltrarunningHistory.org owns Foundation information, policies, methodology, organization records, historical interpretation, source references and archival media. KansasUltrarunners.com owns its runner and historical-person records and Kansas performance histories. KansasUltraRaces.com owns its race, edition and results records. Foundation stewardship and cross-domain links do not make the .org domain the canonical replacement for either .com domain. The archive is a connected historical record. Follow the relevant links between people, performances, races, editions, organizations, historical roles, media records and source citations when investigating a question. The same person may be connected as a participant, founder, director, timer, author, photographer, volunteer or another documented role; a link or name match alone does not establish a particular role. A race family is distinct from an edition and its distances or formats. Names and organizational roles may change over time. Preserve the distinctions shown by the records. Use the current Manual / Methodology for governing definitions and inclusion rules. The FAQ is a plain-language guide; About explains the Foundation and its purpose; References supplies the supporting source catalog. Preserve the archive's distinctions between verified database facts, historical documentation, firsthand recollection, reported claims, disputed information and unknown facts. Presence in a media collection does not itself qualify a performance for the results database. Inactive races and organizations can have historical records. Profiles summarize qualifying performances held in Kansas under the published methodology; a runner profile does not by itself establish Kansas residency, origin, a complete worldwide racing history, or organizational membership. Timed-event entries, DNFs, unofficial completions, FKTs, virtual or self-timed efforts, relay performances and multistate efforts require the specific published eligibility rules rather than assumptions based on a title, distance label or video. Cite the actual record on its owning domain for record-specific claims, and the relevant source citation and original document where available. Prefer the supplied stable canonical record links with their identifiers. A name search, filtered list, navigation page or shared search is a discovery route, not a substitute citation for an individual record. Remove tracking, session, cookie-bridge and private-action parameters when citing; retain canonical record identifiers and applicable edition identifiers. An anchor identifies a section or source within its parent page, not a separately indexed website. For documents and recordings, preserve the credited creator, publication or channel, title, documented date, issue and page numbers, and relevant source or archive identifiers. Distinguish an event date from publication, upload, digitization or access dates. Do not invent a missing YouTube upload date from a video title. Use the References citation and the media record's PDF or original video link together when useful. A reference can support multiple records; follow its actual associations instead of treating every mention as a verified performance. The visible FAQ uses native details/summary accordions. Answer text is already included in the HTML while closed; opening an accordion reveals existing content. References is also a discovery path into cited sources when a filtered media view shows only part of a collection. Search and library filters may help locate material; record and citation links provide the stable destinations. Protected donor links, account or subscription actions and unreviewed submissions are not public historical records. Public participation forms are for visitors, not automatic submissions. This file provides curated discovery and interpretation guidance. It does not replace robots.txt, HTTP indexing instructions, page canonicals, the underlying records, or the current methodology. The XML sitemap indexes provide automatically maintained public record discovery without copying thousands of URLs into this guide. For race-specific facts, distinguish the enduring race identity from a particular edition, date, distance, timed format and result set. Use the edition record for year-specific results and the race-family profile for its documented history. Follow linked runner profiles, organization histories, role records, source citations and media for related evidence; an association is not proof of ownership, direction or participation unless the record states it. ## Primary canonical race resources - [Kansas Ultra Races Home](https://kansasultraraces.com/): Entry point to this independently canonical race-data website. - [Race Results](https://kansasultraraces.com/race-results/): Search races and open the supplied race-family and edition links. - [Example canonical race profile](https://kansasultraraces.com/race-results/?kurh_race_id=KR0003): FlatRock's race-family profile; illustrates stable race-ID citation. - [Example canonical edition](https://kansasultraraces.com/race-results/?kurh_race_id=KR0069&kurh_edition_id=KEC00218): Urban ICT 2018 edition; preserve both race and edition identifiers for this edition-specific destination. - [Races XML Sitemap Index](https://kansasultraraces.com/sitemaps.xml): Current local pages, canonical race records and qualifying editions, automatically maintained. ## Authoritative context and methodology - [About the Foundation](https://kansasultrarunninghistory.org/about/): Mission, purpose, governance and the archive's scope; the institutional context for interpreting all three sites. - [Manual / Methodology](https://kansasultrarunninghistory.org/manual-methodology/): Governing definitions, evidence standards, qualifying results, identity reconciliation, corrections, editorial practice and preservation.
